The UMR ESPACE-DEV conducts research on the spatial dynamics that characterize eco-socio-systems. The LICeM brings together faculty members and researchers who are deeply engaged in the field of innovation, particularly in economic law. The unit, composed of legal scholars, focuses its research on two areas related to innovation in relation to the law. The first area aims to identify and understand, in light of new market offerings and behaviors, what legal innovations are being created. The second area, meanwhile, seeks to analyze the legal framework governing innovative products resulting from digital technologies. The EDSM’s general research focus is on collective bargaining. Following the fundamental reforms of recent years, the specific aim is to assess the social innovation brought about by collective bargaining agreements and conventions.It also involves, more specifically, examining the topic of small businesses, seeking to assess the suitability (or unsuitability) of labor law for small businesses. A central thread throughout is the issue of (collective) bargaining in very small enterprises.In addition to this general theme, the unit has taken on a second research topic focusing on occupational health (quality of life at work, social security, CSR).
